About The Granary Delicatessen

The Granary Delicatessen was first opened in 1985 as a local cheese shop and delicatessen on the High Street of Watlington, a quaint but lively town in South Oxfordshire, just down the road from Oxford and Henley-on-Thames.

In 2002, the business was taken over by Robin and Francesca Holmes-Smith, who then moved the premises along the street to No. 18. During 2017 we bought no 16 and in April 2018 we moved The Deli to no 16, converting and extending the cafe to a 56 seater cafe.
